Deadlines

See the Academic Calendar for all deadlines and important details.

Feb 6; Winter 12. 20th day of instruction; last day to:
- Drop classes designated as 20 day drop courses without a PTD number

Feb 13; Winter 12. 25th day of instruction; last day to:
- Opt for P/NP or S/U grading
- Change variable units on a variable unit course

Mar 26; Spring 12. Student Fee Payment Deadline; last day to:
- Pay fees to avoid classes being dropped. Students with an unpaid balance will be dropped from classes
- Petition for classification to California resident status
- Apply for quarterly Deferred Payment Plan (DPP) and first installment due

Mar 26-29: 5:59 a.m. (PST); Spring 12. Registration Freeze

Mar 29: 6:00 a.m. (PST); Spring 12. Schedule adjustment begins.

Mar 29; Spring 11. Quarter Begins;
- Students with holds are denied access to registration

Apr 2; Spring 12. 1st day of instruction;
- Deadline for filing Planned Educational Leave Program (PELP) petitions

Apr 8; Spring 11. 10th day of instruction; last day to:
- Make final late payment of registration fees with penalty. Students with unpaid balances after the 10th day of instruction will have their registration administratively withdrawn, all courses dropped and fees for the first 10 days of instruction will be charged to the student account
- Drop classes designated as 10 day drop courses without a PTD number
- File petition to change from full-time to part-time status
- File PELP petition
- File applications with the Dean's Office for A&ES and L&S students who plan to complete work for minor program

Apr 12; Spring 11. 12th day of instruction; last day to:
- Add courses without a PTA number
- All wait lists will be cancelled after today
