Ordering Official UC Davis Letter of Certification
An official record of each student's academic work at UC Davis is permanently retained by the Office of the University Registrar. Letters of Certification, upon a student's written request, will be mailed to institutions, agencies and individuals or provided to the student in a sealed envelope. We can fax Letters of Certification. |

Order Your CertificationOrder by mail. Complete the Certification Request form and mail to: Cashier's Office
University of California, Davis Pay by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. Make check or money order payable to UC Regents. Order in person at the Cashier's Office. Bring your completed Certification Request form to main level Dutton Hall; 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Monday- Friday; pay by Discover Card, cash, check, or money order. Order in person at the Office of the University Registrar. Bring your completed Certification Request form to room 12 in Mrak Hall: 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Monday- Friday; pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or debit card with Visa, MasterCard, Discover logo. NOTE: The Office of the University Registrar no longer accepts faxed requests for Letters of Certification. |
Certification Cost$10.00 for each letter. Rush service costs $20.00 for each letter. Rush letters will be processed and mailed within one business day after receipt of your request prior to 3 p.m. and shipped via United State Postal Service 1st class mail. Certification Order FormsForms are available at the Office of the University Registrar, the Cashier's Office, or you can view, print, or download the Certification Request form. You must have Adobe Reader 7.0, or higher, installed on your computer to view the form. Click here to download your copy of Adobe Reader. Completion of RequirementsA letter certifying completion of degree requirements can be issued after final grades are posted, but prior to degree posting and you have filed to graduate. Download and complete the Letter of Certification/Completion of Requirements form. College of Letters and Science. You must complete a major certification with your major department. Colleges of Letters and Science and Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. You must have your major department notify your dean's office that the you have met the major requirements. Allow 3-6 weeks after the end of each quarter for grades to post. Completion of Requirements Cost$10.00 for each letter. There is no rush service available. |
